Ladies: why you should stop shaving
Now that summer is coming closer women are preparing to start shaving their legs, armpits and bikini lines. The advice is not to shave anymore. There has been done an experiment and it gives al the answers to your doubts. First of all, most men do not really mind and are proud of their girlfriend not shaving. Secondly it doesn't make you smell bad. Unfortunately some people do laugh at your legs and armpits. Going to the swimming pool is a bit strange at first, but you get used to it. According to this article you should stop shaving your armpits, since it is important work against 'gendered bullshit'.
Opinion.
I really liked this article because shaving my legs, armpits and bikiniline is something I truly hate, despite the fact that it can be done within minutes. Still it is annoying to do, not to mention the stubbles growing back. So I like the idea of not shaving anymore, but on the other hand letting my armpithair grow does not sound very hygienic, neither does not shaving your bikini line. Also both things do not sound very attractive either. So I must admit that I am not won over by the enthusiastic arguments of this article.
I do not believe it is more hygienic to shave. It is just a matter of cultural habits and fashion. Only a few generations ago it was not usual for women to shave their armpits and nowadays more and more men tend to shave their armpits as well. That is rather funny considering the feminists in the sixties and seventies tried to convince women not to shave anymore since men did not have to shave either.

This picture of Julia Roberts (one of my favourite actresses) is really hilarious. Looking gorgeous,dressed up beautifully and then these hairs in her armpit. So this is how conditioned we are, fashion above all, no feminism or democracy... Really nice article though, Rini! Had a few good laughs.

The article was really good. I like Julia Roberts very much because she doesn’t worry about hairs in her armpit. She just doesn’t care what others think about her. She can be a role model for other girls and woman. Personally I hate shaving. It cost a lot of time and I always think: There must be a good reason why we have hair in our armpit.
